In the end of the year we have been invited to design the Flea Market poster for the first 2016 edition of Flea Market in Porto. The Flea Market is a market where people can sell second hand objects, most of them vintage style.
In this edition of the market the place selected was a parking lot where people park their own cars and use the car trunk to show the objects. For the Flea Market poster we wanted to take that concept and turn it in a visual metaphor. Because we are collectors too, we went to our library and built an image based in two image, a car from the 70’s and an old illustrations of a free package bag. We worked with that in an ironic way because, of course, we can’t sell second hand “food” in the market.
